Barbour Bedale OS Wax Jacket
In 1980, Barbour produced its first short, lightweight jacket, the Bedale design. Originally designed for equestrian sports, it is popular throughout the UK, from royalty to pop legends. CEO Margaret Barbour designed the Bedale jacket with practical equestrian details such as a shorter length, a comfortable fit, back vents, and the essential nylon water drainage inside, which protects the jacket from the steam of the horses' bodies. The Bedale is made from medium-weight 6oz waxed cotton with functional features such as a warm zip-in inner jacket and hood, and can be worn all year round. All the classic elements are here, including a two-way zipper with brass pull tab, a windproof snap fastener flap, two large bellows pockets and two slit pockets with moleskin lining, as well as the traditional corduroy collar with concealed storm flap and snap fasteners.
- The model is 1.82 m tall and wears size 40
